Over 3 days we'd talk to customers going in to the cinema, and by the time they came out, we'd have coded prototypes ready to test with them.
Prototyping Ionic Design Thinking Human Centred Design
For 3 days, I was customer facing at Village Cinemas with my team from Deepend, with the goal of learning about the experience of visiting the cinema, and discovering some of the frictions points that the company's customers faced that we could ease with technology.
Over those few days we learned a lot about Village Cinema's customers, conducting in person spot interviews. Once we identified some of the problems they had with the experience of visiting the cinema, we set about creating prototype solutions.
This project informed a lot of the decisions that the business made in the following year, and many of our learnings are now integrated into their latest products.
